Henrietta Township Trustees meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall.

Henrietta Township will have a Christmas Tree Lighting at the Henrietta Townhall at 12050 Vermilion Road on Saturday November 29 . The doors open at 6:00 PM. Santa will arrive at 6:30 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Lorain County Engineer’s Office was notified that the turnpike bridge over Gore Orphanage Rd will be a complete closure on December 1, 2025 and reopen approximately May 1, 2026. Traffic will be detoured. There will be construction on the Gore Orphanage Rd./Co Hwy 34 overhead bridge this winter. The closure will begin on 12/1/2025 and should be back open by 5/1/2026. The work will require complete closure of the bridge. Attached is the detour map for this project. MP136.

The Henrietta Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a special meeting on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., at the Township Hall, corner of Garfield and Vermilion roads to consider a variance application submitted by Robert Franta for the property at 10800 Gifford Road, Oberlin, Ohio.
