Henrietta native in new book

A new book by historian Leah Garrett highlights Henrietta native Jane “Candy” Kendeigh, a Navy flight nurse who served during World War II. The Flight Nurses’ War shares her heroic efforts to evacuate wounded service members and recognizes the often-overlooked contributions of military nurses.
