Lorain County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of unwanted agricultural tires during the Lorain County Agricultural Tire Collection Day on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will be held at the Lorain County Collection Center, 540 South Abbe Road, Elyria, in the south parking lot. The program is open to Lorain County residents by appointment only. To register, call 440-329-5440.
The collection will accept farm and semi-truck tires. Tire dealers are not eligible to participate.
The event is funded by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Lorain County Solid Waste Management District.
